On the Sunday we all went to see SeaWorld. I’ve never been there so this was really exciting. Thanks to a local friend Lisa we were able to get a huge discount on the tickets, making this trip very affordable. The best part was the backstage tour she took us on. We also touched some sting rays and manta’s and little baby sharks. It was truly a remarkable day in how ocean life is over here in tropical weather. Really had lot’s of fun seeing all that. Specially when we got up close to the Kraken coaster. Me being a rollercoaster freak really enjoyed that part .

The best ride was the Manta flying coaster. I’ve never been on a flying coaster before and it is truly a unique experience. Loved it so much hehe.

So this was a day well spend! I’ve also decided to buy a Nintendo 3DS the day before as they are so ridiculous cheap over here and my friends kinda forced it upon me. It’s a neat little device with cool games. Since I am not really into gaming that much anymore, this thing I can cary around and play from time to time. Got some classics on it I really wanna play.

Cruise – Fursuiting

Almost forgot to add this one in haha. I also went for some suiting right after the Key West adventure. We were all sunburned badly and suffering from sun poisoning after Cococay. So we didn’t feel like suiting, but I just had to do it. One of those things you don’t get to do back at home. It was really a lot of fun. The people were nice, the strong winds kept me cool and it was a unique experience. Val took some gorgeous photos and a video of the experience.

Cruise ends – Jumping at Sky Zone

So on Friday the cruise ended and we were back in Miami, driving back to Orlando. Had a really amazing time on the boat. The whole experience was really a blast and I hope to do this again soon. Maybe I will be back on a cruise in October and go on the biggest boat there is, the Oasis of the Seas. But that is all still in planning phase.

On the Saturday we just pretty much took a break but later on went to go jumping. Just a huge place with loads of trampolines to make some crazy moves at. Also a great opportunity for Val to use her time laps camera function. She made a really nice video out of that which you can watch here.

Cruise – Key West, Florida

So on the last port day we stopped at Key West in Florida. Really beautiful area with lovely food and OMG delicious key lime pie . Really had a good time over here. Last day of the cruise too sadly.

Cruise – Cococay, Bahamas

So here are some pictures of Nassau in the Bahamas. Was a really lovely day full of sun. Really enjoyed this day! Went to see Atlantis and the beach and just hang out for a while.

FWA 2012 + Cruise

Just got back in Orlando after a wonderful time at Atlanta with FWA convention and the cruise in the Bahamas. Atlanta remains a scary city that’s a bit of a dump to be honest. Not my city at all, but the convention was the best ever. Finally was able to meet up with my American friends again! It’s been too long and they are so much fun . Really had a lot of fun suiting and drinking and going to room parties. Met a ton of new people too and I really have no other words to say, other then that it was really good.

On Sunday I left on the plane to Orlando cause we had to get ready to leave early Monday to catch the boat and go on a cruise.

So then we drove Monday early towards Miami to get on the Majesty of the Seas of the Royal cruise ships. And wooow… Did I had an amazing time on the boat . Loooove to cruise now! It is so much fun and the boats are so big, even though this is a smaller ship. Compares to the Oasis of the Seas, the Majesty was just half the length and half the height. Ridiculous .
The service was just amazing and the rooms are so tiny but fun to sleep in. Has everything you need. You can always grab icecreams and juices and such all day long. They serve breakfast and lunch and dinner which is all included in the price. The food was decent though. Some were hit and miss. Specially the buffet stuff was not very good, but the dining stuff was pretty good.
We docked on Nassau, Bahamas, Cococay and Key West. Never been to the Bahamas before but ooohh boy, it sure is really nice being there. We saw Atlantis, which is a huge area that is sooo beautiful. Has a beach, lots of aquarium stuff, a water park and much more. We just walked around though.

First days

The first days have been going really well and relaxing. Not much planned before the trip on Thursday to Atlanta for FWA, which is really nice as I can just regain energy, get used to the lovely weather, see all the wonderful things that makes the USA, USA and so on. Specially the food and the layback of things around here is just thumbs up.

Yesterday we went to Downtown Disney for a bit to get Val her new Samsung Galaxy Note, but also to get me the most wonderful strawberry milkshake there is . Sure do love milkshakes and the USA sure does know how to make them. They contain so much calories you can’t eat anything else for the rest of the day pretty much haha. But that’s how you know they are good. Chiradelli rocks .

Weather right now is about 25 degrees Celsius right now and no cloud in the sky. What a vacation already and we got so much planned!

Arrived in Florida!

Yesterday I arrived safely in the United States in Orlando, Florida. Already had my first Five Guys burger and I sure did miss that haha. Also had some beers and just relax and getting me through the first evening which went really well. Gonna relax some more today and be a lazy Sunday .

Rammstein concert

Yesterday me and my dad went to see Rammstein in the Ahoy in Rotterdam. We have been waiting for this moment for months and now the time has come! Totally got blown away by how amazing and huge the show is! Always wanted to see them live as I love their music and the shows are a huge highlight. Trust me, you will NOT be dissapointed! Rammstein proofs they are the king of the show and metal music. A night to remember. Below I are some photos I took of the event.
